An Athenian rose seller, b. a street beggar, the dedication of the fishing net, a Corinthian courtesan, Spartan girls (Williamson), dance of Maenads; dances inspired by the life of today: pain imprisoned, the machine, on the beach (Margaret Edgecombe), taming a wild colt (Eve Pettinger), youth.
