DescriptionOrganised by Susan Crow and Jennifer Jackson, the Ballet into the Twenty First Century choreographic course, Classical and Contemporary, was for graduating ballet students from professional schools. The course took place 12-14 August 1997 at the Royal Festival Hall (London), as part of Blitz '97. The file contains correspondence with and brief biographies of the panel members for the Round Table, 'A Place for Ballet', held on the 14th for course participants and the general public, and hosted by Ballet Independents' Group Discussion Forum. The panel, chaired by Robert Penman, was Mark Baldwin, David Bintley, Rosemary Butcher, Ross MacGibbon, and Richard Slaughter.
