DescriptionBettina Vernon was a principal dancer with Gertrud Bodenwieser's Viennese company, Tanzgruppe Bodenwieser, in the 1930s and 1940s, and formed Ballet for Two in 1944 with Evelyn Ippen in order to bring Bodenwieser style back to Europe.

The archive includes records relating to lectures, study days, workshops, exhibitions and reconstriction, and inclues publicity material, correspondence, lecture notes, dissertations, research on Getrud Bodenwieser, and music scores. In addition to videos and books, the archive contains scrapbooks, programmes and albums from tours in Australia, Holland and Northern Ireland from the 1930s to the 1950s.
