| Description | Notebook with "Army book 153 Field Message Book" printed on the first page, containing notes, diagrams, etc made by Shepard in pencil and indelible pencil. Most of the notes deal with artillery barrages [by Shepard's unit?] and note times and map references. There is a piece of carbon paper in the back of the notebook. The front cover of the notebook is annotated "E.H. Shepard 2nd LT. 105 Siege Battery RGA" in pencil in Shepard's handwriting. |
