DescriptionItems [sent to E. H. Shepard?] by Eirene Mort (an Australian artist and teacher who was an old friend of Shepard's), including: a clipping from the SYDNEY DAILY TELEGRAPH of 7th February 1968 detailing the Sotheby's auction of Pooh artwork; a short poem that [from context] accompanied a copy of EVERYBODY'S PEPYS [uncertain if it was written by Mort, Shepard, or a third party]; and 9 small woodcuts. Most of the woodcuts are monochrome black or sepia (1 is monochrome green) and appear to be bookplates -- 4 in the name of Eirene Mort, 2 in the name of Nora Kate Weston [Mort's friend and collaborator], and 2 in the name of E. M. Lindsay.
