DescriptionKhaki canvas map case with leather hanger and strap. The case consists of a rectangular canvas pocket with clear plastic front, one side of which is covered with a thin piece of faded brown felt, into which a map can be put. The back side of the pocket, which folds in half, has spaces for writing implements. There are front and back flaps with pockets -- the whole map case snaps together into a thin rectangle. The back flap has "E. H. Shepard" written on the top in ink.
Physical DescriptionAs with the other items, the leather is dried-out, scuffed, and somewhat brittle. The canvas is stained and worn.
