DescriptionTitle page is signed "Ernest H. Shepard". Beneath the signature is the residue from tape used to attach a slip of paper inscribd "Yours Ever Kipper" (now detached from page).

The first page is inscribed in ink "Beatrice M Thornhill for Diana Daglesh Christmas 1961" and beneath, in pencil "Breakwater 96 Sea Road [?] on Sea".

Fixed to the inside back cover is a book review from Punch, 6 December 1961, by John Durrant, and a black and white photograph captioned "Florence & Addie Chaplin" showing two women in medieval dress posed on an external staircase.

Loose items:
- black and white photograph showing float and inscribed on front "Mafeking May 19 1900 page 151" and on reverse: "page 151 May 19 1900 Bust of Baden Powell done by S K Art Students Mafeking Day."
- black and white portait photograph, inscribed (Addie) Adrienne Chaplin.
