| Description | Coloured first edition maps of the 1:2,500 (25 inch to the mile) county series for Surrey: 32.2 (Albury, St. Martha, and Merrow parishes, dated c.1871); 24.9 (Northwestern or Chertsey division, dated 1876); and 24.13 (Southwest or Guildford division, dated 1880). All three maps are coloured zincographs in booklet form -- each map is printed in sections and pasted to a fabric backing that allows it to be folded into a green faux-leather cover, on which the map details have been written. Reference numbers have been written on the upper right corner of the first opening. |
