The actual document contains two copies of the second part, one copy is annotated in places and includes handwritten page numbers. Symbols are also used when movement sequences are described [in Madge Atkinson's Method). Also one print of a Greek Image from the Vatican Museum in Rome 'Donne che Conducono un Toro al Sacrifizio (Scultura antica)'. With a handwritten note stating 'Backward expression of rock' and 'forward expression of rock' corresponding with the position of those in the image.

The contents of a wallet entitled 'Rough Matter for Publication (Miss Atkinson & Miss Johnstone)' including an article entitled 'The Art of Movement' by Max Arlington, December 25, 1925 published in Town and Country News (includes several images of Atkinson's pupils dancing outdoors). Also included is an annotated article by Madge Atkinson for Dance Journal entitled 'How I arrange my Ballets and Dances, A symposium' (see NM Oversize material for both articles). The remaining contents of the wallet are rough notes both typed (with annotation) and handwritten, these are mainly concerned with the manuscript and are drafted sections of some chapters. Attached to some notes entitled 'Design in Frieze Formation' is an illustration drawn by hand of a girl sat on the moon with the title 'Programme'. All items were originally contained within a programme for a Matinee of Dance and Music given by Madge Atkinson and her Pupils at the Crane Hall, Liverpool (also included here).
