| Description | Opened by The Lord Mayor of Manchester to raise one thousand pounds for the Boys' and Girls' Refugees & Homes. The programme includes a variety of entertainments and events such as Maypole & Morris Dancing, a playlet by the Cheadle Hulme Dramatic Society and country dances. Pupils of Madge Atkinson in a performance of Dance and Music perform twice throughout the day. The programme includes photographs and advertisements, including Madge Atkinson's School and a preliminary announcement for the Grand Opera Festival to be held at The Opera House, Manchester in which Madge Atkinson's Pupils performed. |
