DescriptionPhoto taken from ground level looking out on a wide open space; the foreground is muddy land on a slope, inclining uphill from right to left. In the centre of the photo are sections of tiered ground some of which have mini brick walls at the step point. The upper six of these tiered levels have been concreted over and on the sixth level from the top, two workers are erecting a small metal lattice fence, held in place by bricks and an oil drum on the far side. Two more workers are standing on the level above this. On the third level from the top there are men working towards the end of the section, one of whom is driving a small dumper truck, heading away from the photographer. On the lowest two levels of the tiered section are many piles of bricks, spaced evenly along the length of each section and more workers on the penultimate step. One is resting his arm on a small dumper truck. At the top of the hill on the far left of the photo is a temporary wooden hut with a van parked outside it. Behind this is another university building with scaffolding up around it and no windows installed. In the background, Senate House and the Robert Boyle building can be seen with a large tower crane rising above it, its jib pointing to the left with a load lowered to the top of the Robert Boyle building.
Physical Description260mm x 203mm. Good condition; three small slight scratches in the surface near the upper right hand corner.
