Extent1 black and white photograph

Description"Concrete being poured into a pile bore. The chaps with the pile drill seem to be having a spot of bother." is recorded on the back. In the centre of the photo (on muddy ground) is a concrete lorry, side on, and behind it a crane with its arm fully extended and suspended below is a pile drill partly driven into the ground. The concrete lorry has 'premix' written on the concrete compartment and on the cab door is the telephone number 'Aldershot 25545'. Three men are addressing some work need at the top of the drill, one standing actually on top of the pile drill and two on top of the crane looking up towards the top of the pile drill. Two men below appear to be working at the base end of the concrete lorry and a further worker is walking behind this scene. Behind the machinary there are a couple of tall, bare trees and others further in the distance, dotted along the back. On the right hand side of the photo is a small wooden hut. Power cables and a line of short fence posts run through the space between the hut and the crane/ concrete lorry. There is a large trench space between the photographer and the ground where the crane/ concrete lorry is. Cardboard mounted photograph
