Description | View from behind some scaffolding around one of the buildings near Guildford Cathedral. The cathedral dominates much of the upper right hand side of the photo with some piles of large planks/ sheets of wood stacked up near the western arm of the cathedral. A cross is visible above the piles of wood and a large, bare tree is on the right hand side of this. A university building is under construction just to the left of centre - scaffolding is up and two men are inside a bricked area slightly in front. One of them is constructing part of the walled area. Stacks of bricks are piled in front of this area and nearer to the camera, in front of this again, sit two oil drums. On the left hand side of the photo is the large wall of a building. The wall has two levels - higher nearest the photographer (with a ladder propped against it) and the lower level has tarpaulines and some large dark sheets draped over it. A crane is visible jutting out from the top of the higher level part of the wall on the left and dangling down through the air/ suspended from the crane, (left of the centre) is a cage.
