DescriptionInside Block C - interior construction work in progress. Concrete floor has various piles of wooden posts/ planks dotted around it. The ceiling tiles are in place with oblong/ rectangular holes for fittings and lots of cables dangling down into the space, coiled at the end. In the foreground on the left, a unit of machinery/ electrical equipment can be seen, open, with panels/ covers propped up against the front. Also propped against the pillar at the end of this unit is a cardboard box with its contents out - three lengths of silver coloured pipe/ tubing with a combed section in the centre of each (roughly a third of the total lenth). In front of this whole unit sits a large paint pot with the lid off and handle up. Centre foreground has a post of wood lying down, pointing out away from the viewer. In the foreground on the right is a metal corner panel, roughly half the length of the space between floor and ceiling. This has a small black handle on its right hand side. A matching corner panel sits opposite this further down the room, on the right hand side. The central space is open and has not yet been divided into smaller sections/ rooms though the concrete pillars are visible and between two sets of pillars on the right of centre, timber frames are visible. On the left of these pillars is a pile of cardboard boxes/ rubbish - to the left again of this pile is a wooden A frame ladder (open) and in front of it, two curved white funnel tops (may be tops of central heating/ air conditioning vents?). Behind this space, visible above the pile of boxes etc., two men are working with more piles of construction materials (one working on a temporary work table). Two smaller, wooden work tables are visible in the space: one further back, in the space between the A frame ladder and unit of machinery in foreground and another on the right hand side roughly halfway between the photographer and the far wall. In the background, the far wall of windows can be seen, letting in much light. Cardboard mounted photograph
