DescriptionOutside view across a muddy space of the site when it was under construction. The viewpoint is fairly high up on campus, near the tree lined border with the Guildford Cathedral site. A row of white wooden temporary huts/ cabins stretches out just below the border and a muddy path runs in front of these. At the end of the path is a scaffolding structure with lights on. In the foreground in the muddy space are piles of wooden planks/ boards (left), long thin metal rods (centre and right) and a couple of wooden pallets. Just right of the centre of the photo, men are working around the concrete base of one building under construction. A road runs to the right of this building base and on it is a lorry with a cement mixer on board. Further back, to the centre and right of the photo are more university buildings which are a little further on in their stages of construction. One of the buildings on the right has a roof on and some windows installed. In the centre background a large crane stands with its arm angled slightly towards the buildings on the right. On the far left of the photo is Guildford Catherdral, above this site.
