Four key objectives guide the activities of the CND
to contribute to the development of France's choreographic assets, notably by the creation of a comprehensive Multimedia Library specialized in dance, by supporting research and a commitment to updating dance heritage, via an extensive publishing program and the presentation of exhibitions.
to support new work and performance, and encourage the exposure of choreographic works representing creative artists in all their diversity.
to provide choreographic artists and dance teachers with an environment for high-quality education and training, focusing on research, experimentation and access to repertoires.
to offer personalized support to the work conditions of dance professionals in terms of employment, training, workers' rights, health and second career assistance.
