Will o' the wisps (Pamela Lloyd), b. musical interpretation (Mémé Williamson), c. laughing sunbeams (Williamson), Occupational and mimetic actions - dance: a Spartan warrior, emotional and dramatic gesture - a Greek funeral rite; in the interval a few words about the Greek Earthquake Appeal; Part two The Greek Dance as an Art - dances inspired by the life of Classic Greece: a. An Athenian rose seller, b. a street beggar, the dedication of the fishing net, a Corinthian courtesan, Spartan girls (Williamson), dance of Maenads; dances inspired by the life of today: pain imprisoned, the machine, on the beach (Margaret Edgecombe), taming a wild colt (Eve Pettinger), youth. Choreography by Ginner and Sherwood unless stated otherwise.
