TitleDelaine skirts
DateUndated
DescriptionHandmade deep red full ankle length skirts made from delaine wool. The waists are darted to fit at the waist and there is a split and a hook and eye fastening on the waist also. There are fabric 'hooks' sewn inside, probably to allow for hanging the skirts. There are also several darts further down the skirts to give them some sort of shape. Some of the skirts have hems and others have been cut and are slightly frayed.
It is unknown which dance these skirts were used for.
