The book contains minutes of meetings held in Manchester and London and annual reports. This includes minutes of the first meeting held on 24 November 1925 and the first Annual Report of the Natural Movement and Dancing Section of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
Meetings were to discuss examinations, syllabus and technique and also technical schools. The last meeting in the book is the 90th meeting held in London on 8 April 1949. The book contains loose material including a list of dances taught at the technical schools and information about a special training course at the Royal Academy of Dancing. Loose material (including Annual Reports) has been removed and is stored separately. |
