| Description | Competition in aid of The "Sunshine" Homes for Blind Babies. The competition comprised a morning, afternoon and evening session with categories of Classical; Character and Operatic with four age categories under 7, 7-11, 11-15 and 15-21 , a total of ninety six performances took place and the schools featured were as follows (all Manchester schools):
