DescriptionTunics and capes used in Fingal's Cave.
One plain brown cotton tunic, round necked, sleeveless with a ragged unsewn hem.
One tunic with attached cape. Green and brown tie died tunic, same design as before. The green cape is attached to the tunic at the shoulders and is made from ripped strips of cotton covering the back and shoulders and is longer than the tunic.
Two green ragged capes, as before, sewn in order to sit on shoulders. There is also a similar item in rusty orange/brown colours but it has no shape to it like the green capes. It is sewn at the top with long ripped strips of cotton like the others.
One light brown silk ragged skirt with a waistband with a button hole and a press stud for fastening. The skirt has seams to give it some shape, halfway down the skirt the fabric is cut to form strips of material (like the capes) to give it a ragged hem.
