The top of the dress is a light green silk crepe fabric lined with the fabric of the skirt. The dress has a round neck and short ragged sleeves, it has six hook and eye fastenings at the back. It has five 'petals' hanging over the skirt at the waist.
The skirt is a golden yellow slightly stiffened fabric, perhaps silk, and consists of five large petal shaped pieces of fabric which overlap. It is unhemmed.
The hat/bonnet is made from the same material as the skirt and is a round shape with the front cut out to show the face, it is unhemmed. |
