About the Catalogue

This online catalogue allows you to search for descriptions of and information about the archives and special collections held at the University of Surrey.

The catalogue lists over 71,000 items. Our earliest material dates from the late-17th century, but our collections predominantly represent the mid-19th century to the present day. Our collections encompass university records, personal papers, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, art work, maps, plans, periodicals, audio-visual material, books, costumes, set designs and ephemera. The catalogue includes both collection level descriptions about the majority of our archives and detailed catalogues of many individual collections.

New catalogues are added on a regular basis to this online catalogue, however information about some of our collections is not yet available online.
