How can I view items I find described in the online catalogue?
Items described in the catalogue can be viewed in our Archives and Special Collections Research Room, which is located on the ground level of the Library at the University of Surrey's Stag Hill Campus in Guildford. The Research Room is open to anyone who wishes to use our collections, free-of-charge by appointment. To make an appointment please

Can I obtain copies of items I find in the catalogue?
You can request copies of items for personal study and research use and publication by completing the appropriate declaration form and paying the applicable fees. All requests are subject to copyright and UK Data Protection Legislation. Please

Does the catalogue hold details of all the archive collections?
No - we have a number of uncatalogued collections still awaiting processing, therefore if you cannot find what you are looking for please

How can I sort records in the 'search results' hitlist?
You can sort the records by RefNo, Title, Description or by Date by clicking on the appropriate column heading above the displayed records.
How can I find out more information about an entry displayed in the 'search results' hitlist?
By clicking anywhere on the text of a particular entry, the full description and all other relevant information will be displayed. You can then click on the RefNo to see the record in its hierarchical context (i.e. how it relates to other records in the collection) and to see other records in the same collection.
