Description | Written at Red Cottage [Shamley Green, Guildford] [Printed notepaper]. Letter postmarked 19 April 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard at Dolphin Inn, Lydd, Kent [sp.?]. Paper headed with "Wednesday" [Handwritten]. Florence writes that she sent a wire to E H Shepard to let him know that she arrived "home allright" [sp.?], as he looked "rather anxious, + [and] must have seen us collide with the lamp post". Florence writes that she met the Dr on the way back. Florence asks if E H Shepard is comfortable at the Dolphin Inn. Florence also writes of a dream that she had concerning E H Shepard, in which he was cold. Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
