Description | Written at Red Cottage [Shamley Green, Guildford]. Letter postmarked 21 April 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard at Dolphin Inn, Lydd, Kent. Paper headed with "Friday" [Handwritten]. Florence writes that Helen [Helen Tuckett] is "ready and stout and seems pretty jolly" but that Turie [Trix?] [sp.?] is "awful". Florence writes that it will be "rotten" if E H Shepard has to go in to barracks. She also asks for "one pound". Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
