Paper headed with "Thursday" [Handwritten].
Florence writes that "Baba" [Graham Shepard] was pleased with the game and card; she writes that she will get him to write to E H Shepard. Florence writes that Graham Shepard's temperature is below normal. Florence also writes that the new taxes are "awful", and wonders whether it will make much difference to "us". Florence writes that she had no letter today, but did have two yesterday. Florence mentions "Punch" in passing; she writes that she is glad that he is doing it, and encourages him to "keep that up".
Florence writes that the Dr has asked that she make a copy of one of her own pieces for him. She also notes that the money arrived safely, and thanks him for it.
