Paper headed with "Saturday evening" [Handwritten].
Florence writes that she went to Guildford. She writes that it was a lovely day, and that she had on several pieces of new clothing. She writes that Mel [?] came round and pruned the roses. Florence also writes that she found a frame for a photo of E H Shepard. Florence writes that she has hired a lamp. Florence also writes that Helen [?] is staying; she notes that Helen has never had whooping cough, and expresses the hope that she will not turn up "before we've disinfected".

Florence writes to ask that E H Shepard come home on Friday, "even if it's quite late". Florence also writes that it would be nice if the family could have lunch together. Florence writes that she is short on money. Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
