Description | P B Tomlinson writes that he has read that E H Shepard has presented the remaining 'Pooh' drawings to the nation. He says that he owns two pen and ink drawings which he bought at Foyles in 1957, one from 'Wind in the Willows' and the other from either 'Drawn From Memory' or 'Drawn From Life'. Tomlinson writes that he would be very happy to return the two originals to Shepard if he would like to add them to the national collection. He says he also owns two water colour sketches by Shepard; one titled 'Trinidad' and the other one of a river scene with a canoe. He asks if Shepard is able to tell him more about the sketches. He writes that his daughter is an avid 'Pooh' fan. |
