| Description | E H Shepard writes that during the war years so much of his time was taken up with work for the army and other services which meant that he had to put aside all book illustrations and concentrate on his work for Punch. Shepard writes that when he has more freedom he looks forward to resuming some the illustrating work and he should be glad to accept Chappell's offer to illustrate 'The Golden Age' and 'Dream Days'. |
