TitleLetter from E H Shepard to Florence Eleanor Shepard
Date22-23 Sep 1917
Extent2 papers
DescriptionE H Shepard apologises that he has been too tired to write long letters recently. He says that he thought Mary would appreciate the illustrated letter, although 'Old Mrs P' has taken some of it as personal. He says that he expects they will be able to find somewhere in town despite how busy it is, and one with a good 'cave' in case of a raid. He says that he is glad to hear that Elsie will be having a baby. He asks Florence if she liked the little sketch he sent her of the truck. He hopes that he might be able to get into town to have a hot bath at the officers club. He states that their mess cook has been on a 'course' and his cooking has improved considerably
