| Description | Scrapbooks created and annotated by Leslie Burrowes. The content of the books relate to Burrowes' dance career from her beginnings with Margaret Morris, her education in Dresden with Mary Wigman, and her subsequent experiences.
Prior to cataloguing several of the scrapbooks (originally photograph albums) were deconstructed. As part of the Pioneer Women: early British dancers project they have been reconstructed with their content (using original photographs of the albums) and now consist of loose contents in a folder. Some of the contents have not been found. |
