| Description | Rehearsals and performance of reconstructions done by Bettina Vernon and Evelyn Ippen for the Vienna State Opera Ballet. These reconstructions were presented during Tanz 90 at the Vienna State Opera. The five Gertrud Bodenwieser dances on this video are: Sphinx; Mermaid (both danced by Marialuise Jaska); Caprice Viennois; Sunset; and Demon Machine. The video proceeds in the following order: 1) rehearsal of Sphinx (no sound); rehearsal of Mermaid (no sound); rehearsal of Caprice Viennois; rehearsal of Sunset; rehearsal of Demon Machine. 2) Performance of Sunset, Mermaid, Demon Machine, Sphinx and Caprice Viennois. 3) Performance, with titles and credits, of Sunset, Mermaid, Demon Machine, Sphinx and Caprice Viennois. |
