Florence writes that she got back from town, and found a long letter. Florence writes that she is glad that "things are so nice down there". She expresses curiosity about his meal times. She writes that it was nice of his Captain to issue an invitation to him. Florence writes that she and Mary went to lunch with Miss. L [sp.?], and that it was nice. Florence writes that Ethel "is awfully nice and works so hard".

Florence writes that she went to church "this morning". She also writes that she was reminded of E H Shepard.
