Paper headed with "Thursday afternoon" [Handwritten].
Florence writes that Mrs Gossage [sp.?] couldn't visit today. She also writes that Mary Shepard has been "in bed all day", but that she seems perfectly well, "except that she is a bit pale". Florence writes that she is sure that the Dr. could not have done anything else, and that she herself has followed his instructions by keeping Mary in bed and quiet for twenty-four hours. Florence writes that it would be lovely if E H Shepard could come "Friday till Sunday". Florence writes that she got a letter from aunt Ellen [Ellen Shepard], in which she offered to pay for Mary's schooling.
