Florence writes that she felt "rotten" on Sunday. She asks that E H Shepard insist on leave and "come on Friday"; Florence writes that it will be "exciting". She notes that she feels better, and that Pip [Pip Gossage] has confirmed that she looks better. Florence asks that E H Shepard send her a pound, as she doesn't want to fall "short".
