Description | Letter postmarked 25 January 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard; sent care of Mrs. Leatham [sp.?], 1 Royal Terrace, Weymouth [Dorset]. Paper headed with "Tuesday morning". Florence writes that there was "much excitement", as Mary Shepard had her first day of school. She writes that she, herself, is "in bed for the day", although she no longer has a temperature. Florence writes that she has had "flue". She also asks whether E H Shepard has heard anything more about the guard mentioned in a previous letter [EHS/C/13/13/2].
