Description | Crosswritten at centre of verso. Letter postmarked 29 January 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard; sent care of Mrs. Leatham [sp.?], 1 Royal Terrace, Weymouth, Dorset. Postmark indicates that the letter was processed at Shamley Green. Florence writes that she walked up to Pip's [Pip Gossage] today. She also writes that she has been invited to dinner at Mrs. Bingham's [sp.?]. Florence writes that the kids [Graham Shepard and Mary Eleanor Jessie Shepard] are going to have their first drawing lesson. Florence also writes that she gets a card or letter every morning from Kipp [sp.?], and that it is a comfort; she writes that "Mrs. Bingham [sp.?] doesn't get one nearly so often".
