Description Written at Red Cottage [Shamley Green, Guildford]. Letter addressed to E H Shepard; sent care of Mrs. Leatham [sp.?], 1 Royal Terrace, Weymouth, Dorset. Postmark difficult to read [may not be February, may be 1915]; extensively crosswritten at centre and far left of recto.
Paper headed with "Wednesday" [Handwritten].
Florence writes that she is glad that E H Shepard's cold is better. She writes that she herself is ill, and that she has had "such a pain all round my chest". She wonders if she should send for the Dr. again. Florence writes that the kids had a painting lesson. She also writes that Elsie [sp.?] is coming tomorrow, and that she will be glad of the company although she has felt "quite happy and cheerful the last few evenings". Florence notes that it is awfully cold, and that she will have a hot water bottle.

Florence writes that her chest is much better, and that it is another "glorious sunny day".
