Paper headed with "26th May, Thursday morning" [Handwritten].
Florence writes that she got two letters this morning from E H Shepard, one three pages in length. Florence noes that she writes every day to E H Shepard. Florence writes that Mary Shepard responded to his joking request for a maid to clean his quarters with the quip that the family should send "Elsie [sp.?] for a few days". Florence writes that she is so glad that E H Shepard is "enjoying things".

Florence writes that a friend would like to know what is owed to E H Shepard. Florence writes that she feels "rather disturbed" by the loss of "10/-"; she writes that she suspects the maid of taking it, although the woman in question gave all appearances of being a "good honest little girl". Florence writes that she visited the school mentioned in EHS/C/13/15/16; she writes that it met her expectations, and that it would be "lovely if Graham could go there". Florence writes that she was "interested to hear what you [E H Shepard] had for meals". Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
