Florence writes that she has done "a little painting". Florence writes that she has been given a ticket to a concert in Guildford. Florence writes that she is going for a dental appointment. Florence mentions Punch. Florence writes that Molly [sp.?] came, and helped her with cutting the grass. Florence writes that she caught a bit of her nail in the grass cutting machine while she was "trying to adjust it". Florence also writes that "Monty is not good at machines, is she". Florence writes that her handwriting is "worse than usual", as she is lying on her back "on the bed". Florence writes that she must go "+ [and] comfort Peter [Helen Gossage]". Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
