Florence writes that she is working in bed, prior to giving "another lesson". Florence writes that she will be decreasing the number of lessons that she teaches, as her nerves are "rather rotten". Florence writes that she has been "taking the tonic", and expects to be better soon.
Florence writes that she has had no letter today. She writes that she is missing E H Shepard "so dreadfully".
Florence writes that there has been a "Russian success on land sea".
Florence signs of with the nicknames "Mont" [Florence Shepard] and "Puss" [Mary Shepard?].
