Envelope postmarked 17 June 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard at 105 Siege Battery, R.G.A. British Expeditionary Force, France. Paper headed with "Red Cottage, Saturday 17th June" [Handwritten]. Florence writes that she hopes that it will soon get warmer for E H Shepard, as in his last letter he described the conditions as "wretchedly cold". Florence asks that E H Shepard be "terribly careful". Florence writes that she will pay more money into the bank imminently. Florence notes that she is writing "in the garden", and that she wishes that E H Shepard could be with her. Florence writes that she will send on a parcel for E H Shepard. Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
