Paper headed with "11th June, Whit Sunday" [Handwritten]. Florence writes that it's Sunday morning, but "we're not going to church". Florence writes that she is planning to spend time in the garden. She writes that she had a "lovely day yesterday at the Gossages". Florence writes that she wishes that E H Shepard could have seen the view from their garden. Florence writes that she's heard that "all communication with France is to be cut off for 6 weeks". Florence writes that this is of some concern to her; she notes that she would "expire if I had to go so long". Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
