Florence writes that she has had no letter this morning from E H Shepard; she writes that she can't help but feel "terribly worried". Florence writes that she has had breakfast in bed, and that she is writing there. Florence writes that "Fred" is visiting.
Florence writes that she thinks of E H Shepard "nearly all day long". Florence writes that she wishes that she had him "safely home". Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
