Florence writes that she hopes that E H Shepard will soon receive her letters.
Florence writes that an acquaintance has just been at the house to pick up some of E H Shepard's pictures; Florence writes that she almost overcharged him for a piece, and was embarrassed when he pointed out the originally marked (lower) price.
Florence writes that she is pleased that E H Shepard will be living in cellars, and asks him to be "as careful as possible".
Florence writes that the kitchen has been painted and "looks very nice".
Florence writes that it has been "9 weeks" since E H Shepard left, but notes that she is terrified that "they won't give leave while all this push is on".
Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
