[Printed notepaper headed with Red Cottage, Shamley Green, Guildford]. Letter postmarked 28 July 1916 and addressed to E H Shepard at 105 Siege Battery, R.G.A. British Expeditionary Force, France. Paper headed with "28th July /16" [Handwritten]. Florence writes that she has had no letter today. Florence writes that "Baba [Graham Shepard] is allright [sic] today, after a good dose of liquorice yesterday". Florence writes that she wishes that E H Shepard could have leave. Florence writes that an acquaintance has researched some train times for her, to "Paignton" [sp.?][Devon?]. Florence writes that she expects that E H Shepard has received a package from Pip. Florence writs that E H Shepard should tell her if there is anything that he would like. Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
