Florence writes that she is disturbed to hear that her letters have not been reaching E H Shepard. Florence notes that she writes "every day"; she also writes that she has made up "another parcel" for E H Shepard. Florence writes that Pip [Pip Gossage] is going to send a package for E H Shepard.

Florence writes that she had a "horrid day" yesterday, as a result of a few plumbing issues. Florence also writes that she had been working on a portrait of "Pip" [Pip Gossage], and was informed by her that "her people didn't like it at all and wouldn't look at it"; Florence writes that she was very upset by this. Florence asks that E H Shepard forgive her for her "grumbles", as she has "no one else to tell things to". Florence asks E H Shepard for a "hint" to his location. Florence signs off with the nickname "Mont".
