TitleLetter to E H Shepard from John Hudson
Date25 November 1967
Extent4 papers
DescriptionJohn Hudson writes to E H Shepard to ask if he has any objection to Hudson selling four drawings that he purchased from Shepard. He also writes that he recommended Shepard to Michael Heseltine at Sotheby's as being the best person to whom Shepard could go to for advice regarding the disposal of his work. He writes that it would be a shame if Shepard's sketch books for the Milne books were ever lost to America. He advises Shepard to ask Michael Heseltine or his solicitor about estate duty and whether he should sell any of his works before his death.
