TitleLetter to E H Shepard from Charlotte Huck
Date22 June 1971
Extent2 papers
DescriptionCharlotte Huck thanks E H Shepard for answering her inquiry about his illustrations for 'Winne-the-Pooh' and 'Wind in the Willows'. She is glad to hear that they now have a secure home at the Victoria & Albert Museum and also that some will remain with his family. She writes that if Shepard has any illustrations for children's books, such as 'The Reluctant Dragon', that he would be willing to sell, she would be delighted to purchase them.

On the reverse of the letter, Shepard has drafted a reply to Charlotte Huck. He writes that he regrets that he has no drawings for 'The Reluctant Dragon' but he does have a number of drawings for the books 'Enter David Garrick' by Anna Bird Stewart and 'Crystal Mountain' by Belle Dorman Rugh.
